The grand opening of the Max Plank Florida Institute for Neuroscience in Jupiter on Wednesday was accompanied by the news of a huge financial donation from Germany. Over the next four years, the Institute will be the recipient of $10 million annually to support their research in understanding brain function and neural circuitry. The Max Planck Society is a world-renowned research organization that has produced 17 Nobel Prize laureates.
