Now Showing at the Boca Raton Museum: Romanticism to Modernism, Graphic Masterpieces from Piranesi to Picasso

Masterworks by Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Francisco de Goya and Pablo Picasso are among the 65 fine prints displayed in this extraordinary exhibition celebrating prominent graphic masters of the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Now through June 19, 2011, this exceptional exhibition explores the artistic diversity and technical virtuosity of the greatest graphic artworks ever created.

Highlights of the exhibition include 21 notable graphic works by Picasso, etchings from Goya, and a compelling array of fine prints from masters such as Paul Cézanne, Pierre Auguste Renoir, James McNeil Whistler, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Joan Miró and Marc Chagall, among others. It’s an astounding look at the evolution of fine prints from the pioneers of the graphic genre.
